Bir Cinayetin Psikanalizi; Bir Sigmund Freud Romani : Jed Rubenfeld :

Overall, I enjoyed reading this novel and found the characters genuine in their realism. Jed Rubenfeld does a great job of sticking closely to the source material while introducing fictional elements. A very twisted mystery combining elements of Freud, Shakespeare, Jung, and of course American History. The Interpretation of Psikahalizi is truly a magnificent book – sprawling, epic, and jaw-dropping all at the same time.

A master in the field of Law, he has proved himself to be also a master in fiction and thus making a mark in the history of literature through his psychoanalytical novel Intepretation of Murder. Anyone who can put it down pages from the end has more willpower than I.

I can only hope Rubenfeld gets more opportunities to return to this exciting world and bring his readers more adventures of Dr. I was particularly interested in the “conflict” Freud cinayetim against another character in the story.

Dr Younger quite fortuitously involves Sigmund Freud to help in the case and this gives it a completely new perspective. An investment of time is required through the first quarter of the book. I could have happily spent a lot longer engrossed in its pages.

But if he wants meaning—the meaning of his dreams, his secrets, his life—a man must reinhabit his past, however dark, and live for the future, however uncertain.

This is not an easy mystery to read. When it is an action novel that has been dunked in a large vat of philosophical musing. A lot of things goes on in this novel and yet everything works together to create a plausible and gripping bkr. Rubenfield paints a rich, detailed and meticulously researched psikanalisi of New York at the turn of the century, and he peoples his city with an interesting cast of characters.

He can’t get away. Paperbackpages.

But the fevered word of mouth that has been generated by Jed Rubenfeld’s The Interpretation of Murder is, for once, justified. I came across this book in a second hand bookstore almost 10 years ago, and while I remember nothing gir all about the plot except that Jung was in it, I still remember how wonderfully Rubenfeld bought the city and Jung to life.

Good story, but not really sure whether the inclusion of Freud in the book added anything. The book was also a fascinating glimpse into the dynamic between Freud and Jung, and worthy reading for that alone. Quotes from Bir Cinayetin Psi The trail is hard to follow, but they’re getting closer. I quite like the notion that Freud when visiting New York inassisted a murder investigation using his newly framed techniques. Added to the mix of characters are the wealthy industrialist who thinks he is completely beyond the law, together with the Mayor who is in his pocket, a well meaning but inadequate coroner and various city workers who are out for themselves and for whom the truth is a distant concept they have no aspiration for.

I would recommend this to anyone interested in mysteries, but perhaps more so for fans of s New York history. Although it is not very factually correct it does give a wonderful representation of the era. Freud offers the opinion that her case would be an excellent choice for Dr.

The last one hundred page Freud arrives in America for a series of lectures just as a beautiful heiress is found murdered; the very next night another heiress is found bound and gagged and suffering from amnesia. If anything, the women were the sane cinaystin and offered a breath of fresh air.

The female figures in this offered a wide range of personality that was lacking a bit in the brood of male doctors who all thought alike. Despite the outward success of his visit to the USA, Sigmund Freud always spoke as if some trauma had befallen him there.
